Starting in 2006, when faced with the urgent necessity of removing our Meetinghouse steeple to prevent collapse, we have been on a collective journey toward the complete restoration and enhancement of this gorgeous historic structure, and toward revitalizing its use by both our congregation and all our Dorchester neighbors.  We are implementing the recommendations found in the phased restoration plan written by our preservation architects, McGinley Kalsow & Associates.  Estimates project that this effort will cost approximately $7 million in total, and we have at this time substantially completed three of the five phases.
