In The Belly

The pagan observance of Imbolc, which coincides with the the Catholic observance of the Feast of St. Brigid, is said to be a time of honoring the seeds that are blooming but that we cannot yet see. Imbolc literally means “in the belly” and marks the midpoint of winter. Join us for an exploration of all of ways in which growth and health may be stirring under the ground or inside the body before we see anything with our eyes.

Here’s the video of this Service:

If joining by Zoom, please use the regular First Parish Zoom account: https://zoom.us/my/firstparishdot  If you attend in person, you are most welcome to join us for fellowship in the Parish Hall afterwards!

We always have nursery care starting at 10:30. Our children start in the sanctuary with their families, then go with their teachers to Sunday School after the Time for All Ages, unless it is an intergenerational service. Recordings of Sunday services can be found later at https://www.firstparishdorchester.org/worship/past-worship-services/
