“A labor of Love”

“We are pregnant with freedom” says Assata Shakur. We are birthing a new world together. And it is a labor of love. It is painful and beautiful and complicated. There are times to breathe and gather ourselves. There are times to push like our lives depend on it – because they do. Join us as we breathe together and offer support for the labor of our times. This will be the first of 2 services drawing heavily from the gorgeous and moving book “See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love” by Valerie Kaur.

Here’s the video of this Service:

You are invited to join us in worship in person or on zoom athttps://zoom.us/my/firstparishdot If you join us in person, please wear your mask and sit distanced from one another. We will unmask to speak from the front of the Sanctuary.
