First Parish Church in Dorchester is a caring community and Unitarian Universalist Congregation. We seek to make a place for all ages to experience and celebrate community, to teach and learn from each other through lay-led services, and to actively work for a more just and equitable future. Whoever you are, no matter where you come from, know that you are welcome here. We are Unitarian Universalist and Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and more. Children and Families

Children and Families

First Parish Dorchester offers a volunteer-led Faith Formation Program for children and youth. Our Sunday School connects with Unitarian Universalist themes and church services, creating a cohesive spiritual experience. We use Soul Matters from September through June for inspiration. Childcare is available for ages 0-4, while children in grades K-5 join Sunday School after the Time For All Ages.

Summer Service Sundays at 10AM

Summer Service Sundays at 10AM

For the months of July and August, our regular Sunday service will begin at 10 AM. During the summer, our services are led by various community members, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment by embracing a variety of theological perspectives and encouraging the exchange of intellectual and personal insights.
