“An Indigenous People’s History of the US for Young People”

Readers and thinkers of all ages are invited to join First Parish’s summer book group, to be facilitated by Katherine Jenkins with support from Lucas Gonzalez Milliken and Emily Lichtenstein. The group is reading An Indigenous People’s History of the US for Young People, by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. This book reveals the roles that colonialism and policies of American Indian genocide played in forming our national identity, and will encourage you to think critically about your own place in history.
