They Came A People –Mar. 28, 2010
This Sunday we celebrate the 380th anniversary of the gathering of this church community. Our founders’ covenant drew them into relationship with each other as they sailed courageously from England to Dorchester. This morning, we honor our past and we renew our own covenants to one another, to the community, and to the future of this church. The title of this sermon comes from the words of the Rev. Hall, written in 1870 for the 240th anniversary.
