WINTER FOOD & CLOTHING DRIVE
Our annual winter food drive is a great act of service and generosity to the local community. Everything that we donate is given to the Dotwell food pantry located at Dorchester House. Look for great sales in the grocery stores and stock up on items that some needy family can appreciate. Warm winter outerwear is also welcome.
MEETINGHOUSE RESTORATION
PROJECT NEWS An auction of the historic silver collection from First Parish was held on Friday, January 20 at Sotheby’s in New York. Proceeds of the sale will help fund the Meetinghouse Restoration Project and the mission the church in Dorchester. Rev. Worship moves to Parish Hall
Again this year we will close the sanctuary/meetinghouse for the winter and move the services to the Parish Hall. Join us as we make this shift to save on heating costs and to practice our 7th UU Principle,"Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part" by conserving energy. Please enter from the Parish Street side of the building, as the church yard gates and front entrance on Winter Street will be closed.
