RECENT EVENTS Many thanks to all who attended and provided refreshments for our "Cookies and Classical" concert on October 29. It was a great event. Stay tuned for the next free concert which will be scheduled in January! COOKIES AND CLASSICALVENTO CHIARO
Joanna Goldstein, flute As one of the country’s foremost woodwind quintets, Vento Chiaro captivates audiences with engaging performances and inspiring residencies. Founded at the Peabody Conservatory in 1997 and currently based in Boston, the ensemble places a strong emphasis on breaking down the traditional barriers that exist between performers and audience members. The Free for All Concert Fund, an independent grant-making foundation, ensures that everyone from the Boston region — children, adults, families — will have regular and permanent access to the rich world of classical, orchestral music and related cultural events. For 10 years, First Parish Church in Dorchester hosted "Sundays at 3", an annual series of free concerts by guest musicians in our Parish Hall. The concerts were produced by our organist and choir director Ana Sorina Popa with church members and friends.
